The Rio Grande County Assessor’s Office is seeking an Appraiser Trainer.
Work Location is the Rio Grande County Assessor’s Office, Rio Grande County Courthouse, Del Norte, CO. Starting wage is $18.89 per hour & full benefits for an unlicensed Appraiser Trainee or $23.10 per hour & full benefits for a licensed Appraiser Trainee. This full-time (40 hours per week, M-F) performs residential, mobile home, and agricultural building appraisals to ensure proper generation of property taxes for ad valorem purposes. High school diploma, or GED; 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Rio Grande County Coroner’s Office seeks a Deputy Coroner. A valid Colorado Driver’s License is required and must have or obtain a Colorado Coroner’s Association Certification within one (1) year of hire. The Deputy Coroner provides back-up for the Coroner, at the direction of the Coroner which responds to the scene of deceased persons. Drug screen and background check required. Deputy Coroner Job Description
Rio Grande County is seeking a Grant Specialist to join our team. The Grant Specialist will work with federal, state, and private grants to manage programs and secure funding. They often work with a variety of staff, including department heads, financial staff, and others. Grant specialists may also be responsible for special projects. The Grant Specialist will report to the Chief Financial Officer, is an Exempt Full-Time Position, will receive County benefits of Annual & Sick Leave, Retirement and Health Insurance.
