Rio Grande County Offices will be closed in observance of New Year's Day on Thursday, January 1, 2026. Offices will resume normal hours of operation on Friday, January 2, 2026.

The Rio Grande County Clerk & Recorder's office will be closed on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Staff will be attending training for the computer upgrade of the motor vehicle system. The office will reopen at 7am on Thursday morning for regular business hours. Immunizations

Vaccines are essential in providing immunity to life-threatening diseases. Call Rio Grande County Public Health today at 719-657-3352 to schedule an appointment.

Child and adult immunizations are typically scheduled every Thursday and Friday for insured, uninsured, and cash pay. Times vary each day.
