Elevator repairs are underway in the Rio Grande County Courthouse from October 20 until approximately October 30, 2025. There will be temporary service disruptions. If you plan to visit an office on the second or third floor and need the elevator, please call that office to make alternative arrangements.

If you or someone you know has a concern regarding the safety or protection of a child please call 719-657-2000 during normal business hours. 

If it is an emergency outside of these hours please call law enforcement or the Colorado Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline at 1-844-CO-4-KIDS (1-844-264-5437). Law enforcement will in turn contact our after hours worker.
