Due to additional State changes to property tax requirements and subsequent software changes, property tax notices will be delayed. Property tax amounts for 2025 payable in 2026 will be available by the end of January. You are welcome to contact us for more information @ Treasurers Office 719-657-2747.


The Rio Grande County Clerk & Recorder's office will be closed on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Staff will be attending training for the computer upgrade of the motor vehicle system. The office will reopen at 7am on Thursday morning for regular business hours. Airport Advisory Board

The Airport Advisory Board meets once a month to make decisions and advise the Airport Management and Board of County Commissioners on current operations and future direction of the Airport. 

The Board consists of local aviation professionals, business owners and community leaders. Rio Grande County is extremely fortunate to have the relationship and the support of The Airport Advisory Board.
